Elegant bamboo hallway mirror – Italy, 1960s
Refined hallway mirror made of curved bamboo with decorative elements in woven rattan, datable to the 1960s.
The slender structure is composed of a large vertical mirror inserted in a bamboo frame, enriched by curved details and by a small central shelf useful as a resting surface for keys or small objects. At the bottom a graceful decorative element with arched motifs completes the composition, imparting lightness and rhythm to the structure.
The upper part presents a small shelf with a woven rattan insert, which adds another functional and decorative element. The whole recalls the natural and refined taste typical of bamboo and rattan furnishings widespread in European interiors in the 1960s.
