Diamond sieve by Willem Linderman - Dating 1800-1838.
Jan Willem Linderman (Amsterdam June 22, 1782 - June 30, 1838) was a well-known instrument maker.
On the lid there is in calligraphic lettering W.m Linderman & Co. / Amsterdam.
The brass sieve consists of 4 parts: the lid, the section where the 24 sieves are stored and on which 1 sieve can be placed with the diamonds to be sieved, the catching tray, and the 24 sieves.
The complete set of sieves is present: numbers 1 to 20, 1 sieve without designation, sieves 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4.
This sieve, once purchased on Catawiki, is completely intact and particularly well preserved.
It is shipped carefully packaged.
