Art Deco table lamp with a swallow, marble, regulé and opaline glass signed Tedd circa 1930.
Elegant Art Deco-style table lamp dating from the 1930s. It rests on a rectangular veined marble base in contrasting tones, characteristic of decorative productions of this period.
The lamp is adorned with a sculpture depicting a swallow in full flight, made in regulé with a brown-bronze patina. The base of the sculpture bears the signature Tedd.
The illumination is provided by a spherical globe of white opaline glass decorated with horizontal yellow bands, diffusing a soft and warm light.
The overall design presents a typical Art Deco style with clean lines and its dynamic animal motif.
Good overall condition with normal signs of wear due to age; see the photos, they are part of the description.
