Refined oval silver box dating to the mid-19th century (circa 1850), characterized by an elegant decoration incised in parallel lines with a smooth central cartouche on the lid, typical of silverware production of the period.

The interior is lined with red velvet, padded, probably intended to hold small precious objects such as jewelry, rings, or personal keepsakes. The box has a functioning snap closure and preserves a beautiful patina consistent with its age.
