Description from the seller

Beautiful vintage enameled blue cast iron casserole dating from the 1950s. Although unmarked with a brand, the casserole bears the inscription “MADE IN BELGIUM 20” under the lid, typical of productions from the Saint-Trond Foundries and Ename llers located in Brussels, a manufacture that disappeared in the late 1960s.

These Belgian productions are renowned for their enamel quality and are now sought after by enthusiasts of vintage European enamel cast iron.

The casserole features a superb royal blue shade with a white enamel interior, characteristic of many Belgian productions from this period.
