Beautiful and large oval cast-iron enamelled casserole in red gradient from the French manufacturer Cousances.
The Cousances brand, historic in French culinary cast iron production, was later integrated into Le Creuset. These casseroles are today sought after by enthusiasts of vintage French enameled cast iron.
This model bears the “Made in France” label and corresponds to production intended for the American market, USA inscribed under the lid, highly appreciated across the Atlantic for the quality of its enamel and its sturdiness.
The casserole features the famous gradient red color, emblematic of French productions in the second half of the 20th century.
