Description from the seller
→ 13 cm long x 9.4 cm wide Otudus Megalodon teeth
It is very beautiful yellow-brown-golden mix colored teeth probably of the lower jaw based of an enormous Megalodon shark of Miocene epoch around 10-20 Million years. This fossil offers several interesting features. The most interesting one being its very large root region in the front (mesial) of the teeth compared to overall size of the teeth. Closeup view of the root region gives interesting insights as to how the biological tissue of root gets converted to mineral, sand, salts over prolonged fossilization process. Parts bourlette are eroded away but still its prominent in beautiful golden-yellow color. The serration profile of the teeth is excellent overall. The back of teeth has some dark color design and its upto reader to interpret it. The teeth is not fully symmetrical and has unique curvature along x,y and z axis making it very cool in its own way.
To best of our understanding, the teeth is in natural state without repair.
