An interesting manuscript in Latin concerning the 'Grecanic Church'. With this expression one generally refers to the Greco-Orthodox places of worship tied to Grecanic culture (or the Greeks of Calabria), an ethnolinguistic minority living in the southern area of Calabria, particularly in the Bovesia region, which had a strong historical connection with the Byzantine Empire.
The manuscript is undated but certainly dates from the 18th century.
PP.: 39 (hand-numbered only on the recto). COMPLETE.
A copy with leaves/pages in overall good to very good condition, with the usual signs of use and time.
Refined contemporaneous binding in full parchment with gold decorations on the boards, well preserved. Endpapers in decorated paper.
