Schott Zwiesel - Wine glass (8) - Crystal

Elegant vintage set of 9 wine glasses, presumably originating from the German brand Schott Zwiesel.

The goblets are richly decorated with a refined, almond-shaped cut crystal pattern that creates a beautiful light input and scintillation.

The glasses have a striking, multi-layer stem with multiple facets and decorative rings – a style characteristic of higher-end crystal series from the 20th century.

Due to the high clarity and the complex cut, this is (lead) crystal, known for its relatively heavy weight and the clear, ringing tone when the glass is tapped.

It is a traditional model of wine glasses with an elegant bowl, a shorter finished stem and a thick, heavy round foot.
