Writing slope - Wood

Lacquered wooden writing desk, Italy, 19th century.
On the front a painting depicting a countryside house.
When opened, the writing desk is covered in velvet, with two small compartments.
Under the writing surface another compartment and a small drawer.

Sold with a graving stylus, and its key.

Good condition, there are some wear marks in the wood. The painting is damaged in places, lifting at the corners (a few nails missing), due to the many openings of the top. See photos.
