Description from the seller
Rally spirit turned into an icon. Official document and representation of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, the most radical and glorious version of the Italian compact that dominated the World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Born to homologate competition in Group A, the Delta HF Integrale was not simply a street sports car: it was a weapon designed to conquer stages and transfer that supremacy to everyday asphalt.
The Delta HF Integrale represented the pinnacle of Lancia engineering in its golden era. Its widened bodywork, with muscular wheel arches, specific air intakes and larger-diameter wheels, was not about aesthetics alone but about housing a more powerful mechanicals and a sophisticated permanent all-wheel-drive system. Each widening and opening was designed to improve cooling, stability and performance.
Under the hood lay a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that, in its various evolutions (8V, 16V and Evoluzione), far exceeded 200 hp, reaching around 215–220 hp in the final versions. Coupled to a manual gearbox and an advanced all-wheel-drive system with specific differentials, it offered extraordinary traction and effectiveness on any surface.
Its behavior was precise, agile and explosive. The turbo boost, the communicative steering and the smart torque distribution made it an incredibly effective car, but also exciting. It wasn’t a conventional compact: it was a true rally car adapted to the road.
Between 1987 and 1992, the Delta HF Integrale achieved six consecutive constructors’ titles in the World Rally Championship, a record that solidified its place in motorsport history. On the street, it became a symbol of Italian character, technology and the spirit of competition.
Today, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale is an absolute cult piece. It represents the golden age of rallying, Lancia’s technical audacity and an era in which homologation cars carried the passion and brutality of competition directly onto the roads.
It comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until you have it in your hands. The exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm with 3 cm depth.
Large-format print with gallery-quality. Museum-grade cotton canvas paper 340 g/m2.
FRAME INCLUDED, you’ll only have to hang it on the wall. Shipped in a wooden crate to prevent any impact. See the photos.
