Description from the seller

Vessel with a truncated cone-shaped body and pronounced shoulder. It has a short ribbon handle connecting the rim to the upper part of the body. In terms of decoration, it features a painted band at the top with geometric motifs and dark horizontal stripes that delimit the decorated area against the natural color of the clay.

Provenance: K. H. Collection, northern Germany, acquired between 1980 and 1990; acquired at auction Gorny & Mosch, Germany, 2025.
