Description from the seller

Elegant English fall-front cabinet in mahogany, with a sober silhouette and harmonious proportions, enriched by brass handles and refined bone escutcheons of the lock mouths, elements that enhance its craftsmanship and period charm.

The piece is in good overall condition, with a sound structure; the fall-front opens correctly and rests on the two front removable supports.

The body consists of four drawers arranged in order of increasing size toward the bottom. Inside the fall-front we find two small drawers, six practical compartments for cards or decorative objects, and a charming central small door with a lock and key. Particularly interesting are the bone escutcheons, to be carefully observed in the photographs to appreciate their material and workmanship.

Noteworthy is a slight warp of the fall-front panel, the absence of an internal knob, and a small wax repair on the right side.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
