Description from the seller

Italian dresser in Louis XVI style, made between 1810 and 1830 in solid walnut wood, with veneer and inlays in walnut and ebonized walnut. The front consists of three wide drawers, framed by dark fillets and decorated with elegant shaped neoclassical inlays, characterized by geometric inlays and a central cartouche motif with flowing, symmetric profiles. Similar decorations are found on the sides, where a diamond-shaped inlaid medallion, in an elongated form, is set within a frame of thin ebonized fillets.

The handles are contemporary and original. The top and the drawer frames feature borders in ebonized wood. Solid structure in excellent condition, with normal signs of wear. Notable is a small veneer loss on the left side. The interiors are original with signs of hand sawing and guides that function perfectly.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
