Wall plate - Pottery - Decorative board

This decorative plate is executed in polychrome colors with a rich floral motif and a bird in the center, characteristic of the Delft tradition. The piece is hand-painted and shows authentic features such as craquelé (hairline cracks in the glaze), which points to age and artisanal production.

The plate probably dates from the 19th century (approx. 1870–1900) and was made in a Delft workshop or in the Delftware style. On the reverse side there is a hand-painted maker's mark and a hanging hole, indicating that it is intended as a wall plate.
