Description from the seller
Dear Bidders,
Thank you for your interest in my offer.
I'm offering here a striking pair of porcelain vases from the Thomas Atelier series, produced by Thomas, a design-oriented brand belonging to the Rosenthal Group.
Known for its high-quality “Made in Germany” porcelain and collaborations with designers, Thomas has been part of Rosenthal since 1908.
These vases reflect a distinctive postmodern / Memphis-inspired style, characterized by bold geometric forms, asymmetry, and playful linear decoration in vibrant colors. The sculptural silhouettes and contrasting patterns make them both functional objects and decorative design pieces.
Produced circa 1980s–1990s, they embody the era’s fascination with experimental shapes and graphic surface design, typical for Thomas Atelier collections of that period.
A rare and highly decorative duo, ideal for collectors of German design porcelain and postmodern interiors.
