Chess "The Crusades"

Impressive historic medieval vintage chess with alloy bronze/metal figures representing "The Reconquista" and the clashes between Christian and Muslim troops of the Late Middle Ages during the Crusades.

This lot includes a spectacular structure (pyramid-shaped base) made of various materials with diverse relief scenes on all sides. At the top there is a beautiful wooden board which, on one side, is the chessboard, and on the other side allows protecting the board.

In addition, the chess includes a complete set of 32 very detailed metal pieces (the pawns of each side have enamelled their shields) representing the Christian and Muslim factions. These pieces range between 6.5 and 8 cm. The pieces are perfectly protected and placed in a design-specific structure, and they are stored inside another larger structure.

The whole set is in excellent condition.

Ideal for collectors, as well as historians or chess lovers.
