Description from the seller
Here is a piece of LEGO Castle history: the grand King Leo's Castle (set 6098) from the year 2000.
This lot is not the classic loose set, but a complete "Collector Grade" configuration, ideal for those who want to relive the excitement of the original opening or for a long-term collecting investment.
Lot Highlights:
- Completeness: Set verified and complete with all structural components and the rare light gray pieces (Old Light Gray) typical of the era.
- Original Minifigures (8/8): Includes all 8 iconic minifigures from the Knights' Kingdom I theme: King Leo, Queen Leonora, Princess Storm (knightly version), Richard the Strong, John of Mayne, the villain Cedric the Bull, Gilbert the Bad, and the Skeleton (poseable arms included).
- Rare Packaging: Original front-flap box included. The yellow inner is clean and the graphics under the flap are vivid with no significant discoloration.
- Documentation: Includes the original instruction manual (code 6098/6091), essential for the correct reconstruction of the castle and the alternate models.
Conditions:
The set has been well preserved. The prints on the minifigure torsos and on the shields of the "Leo" and "Bull" factions are sharp. The box shows normal and light signs of wear around the edges, which authenticate its originality without compromising display aesthetics.
Technical Details for the Card:
- Release year: 2000
- Theme: Castle / Knights' Kingdom I
- Pieces: ~520
- Minifigures: 8
Note on the Minifigures: All characters are intact and in excellent condition, except for one hand on a knight (Richard the Strong/John of Mayne) which shows a slight wear/tear on the tip (as visible in the close-up photo). The piece is nevertheless functional for display.
Box Condition: The box shows normal and light signs of time on the edges, authenticating its originality without compromising display aesthetics. The graphics under the front flap are excellent.
