Modern copper, silver-plated medal with antique finish, based on the historical LM-88 design from the Chinese Republican era. The obverse features a realistically styled, carefully modeled bust of Sun Yat-sen, with precise facial features, a clearly defined mustache, and a smooth transition between relief and fields, displaying a uniform satin texture. The reverse exhibits a symbolic composition with crossed Republican flags over the globe, combining political and allegorical iconography, with deep engraving and excellent clarity of the details. The entire piece offers a homogeneous patina, full relief, and clean fields, typical of a maximum-quality proof strike, with no visible defects and a visually balanced and highly attractive presentation.
