Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. 1/2 Schilling. 1925.
- Value: 1/2 Schilling.
- Year: 1925.
- Inscriptions: On both sides, the legend REPUBLIK OESTERREICH with a stylized national shield; on the obverse, the denomination 1/2 within a geometric diamond-shaped motif and the date at the bottom.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Silver coin belonging to the early issues of the First Republic of Austria, characterized by a modern geometric design that is very representative of the interwar period. The use of the central diamond to highlight the denomination gives it a distinctive aesthetic and makes it easily recognizable within the series of republican schillings. The piece presents an intense, original luster that is uniform, with very clean fields and sharp reliefs, showing minting that is especially well-crafted for the type. The high grade, certified MS65, makes it an attractive piece both for its quality and its historical value within twentieth-century Austrian numismatics.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to be absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
