Description from the seller

AUSTRIA. Vienna. 2 Schilling. 1932.

- Value: 2 Schilling.
- Year: 1932.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: JOSEF HAYDN. 1732–1932. Reverse: REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH · 2 SCHILLING.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).

Commemorative silver coin dedicated to the composer Joseph Haydn, issued on the occasion of the bicentennial of his birth. The obverse presents his profile portrait to the left, in a sober and realistic style, with good modeling of the hair and features, showing clean surfaces and an original shine well preserved. The reverse features the Austrian federal shield surrounded by the shields of the states, with the central value clearly defined and sharp reliefs. A specimen of notable quality, with a light and homogeneous patina, well-preserved fields and minimal presence of marks, in keeping with its grade of preservation.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
