Portugal assay mark (1938-1984), 833/000, and same date marker's mark.
Offered for sale is an elegant antique bread basket in solid silver, richly decorated with floral motifs.
The piece features a finely worked border adorned with detailed flowers in relief, surrounding a pierced body with stylized openings. The center is decorated with a raised motif of grapes and leaves, symbolizing abundance, a common theme in European silverwork.
