Six tea/coffee spoons in .830 silver from Denmark (Copenhagen), dating to 1950–1960, with the Three Towers mark and boxed; each spoon measures about 11.5 × 2.4 × 1 cm; total weight about 260 g; excellent, unused condition.
Description from the seller
Complete set of 6 silver tea/coffee spoons, with a refined decorative motif, iconic pieces of Danish silverware. Denmark mark with the "Three Towers" (Copenhagen).
The punch with the three towers is the official mark of the city of Copenhagen, used as the national standard in Denmark since 1893. This mark guarantees a minimum fineness of 826/1000 (often listed as silver 830). By contrast, the mark with only "Two Towers" indicated Silverplate (silver-plated metal) and not solid silver.
Dating: Under the towers are inscribed two digits "61" indicating the year of manufacture.
"PF" is the silversmith's mark (likely Peter Friederich).
The spoons are kept in a lined box. Perfect for collectors or to enrich the table with a touch of classical elegance, or as a gift.
Excellent vintage condition both the spoons and the box. The items retain their original patina of time that guarantees authenticity. They have not been cleaned intentionally to preserve historical value; polishing will be at the buyer's discretion.
Dimensions of each teaspoon: about 11.5 cm x 2.4 cm x 1 cm
Box: 21 cm x 14.5 cm x 4 cm
Weight of the box with spoons: about 260 g
