These modular elements are part of the iconic String production designed in the early 1960s by Kajsa & Nisse Strinning.
Responding to the need to create repeatable modules to define space, these light and elegant shelves embodied the all-Scandinavian answer to the demand for standards that design sought in those years.
The design, clean and lightweight, recalls the famous Nordic systems of the 1950s–60s, with a ladder-like structure that allows adjusting the height of the shelves and adapting the composition to one’s needs.
