Description from the seller

Hand-forged agricultural hoe.
Hand forging: The irregular surface and the central ridge indicate artisanal hammer-forged workmanship, typical of rural tools of old times, built to withstand hard or rocky soil.
The Point: The highly accentuated leaf- or shield-shaped form is designed to penetrate the soil easily. In Italy, similar variants are often found in central-northern agricultural traditions (such as the 'Parma' or 'Reggio' models).
The Tang (Base): The narrow lower part is the point where the tool was inserted into a wooden handle, often reinforced by a metal ferrule.
The Top Hole: This feature is interesting; it could be a mounting point for a bracket (the support where the foot rests to push) or simply a hole for hanging the tool when not in use.
