Hilario DE PAIVA presents a carbon fibre base artwork, model 488 Spider, edition of 99, signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity; dimensions 28.5 x 23.5 x 6 cm, weight 1 kg, new in 2025.
Description from the seller
This panel is designed on a carbon fiber base, renowned for its durability and lightness. Each piece weighing about 1 kg is carefully handmade in the workshop based in Paris, FRANCE, for more than 10 hours. The key to a Ferrari 488 Spider that is being restored is frozen for eternity in the panel, accompanied by a depth that gives it more relief and with a black outline to enhance the dark side of carbon.
An object that triggers memories, other sensations, and yet is an intimate object, reserved for its owner.
It is a meeting between the futuristic material of carbon fiber, which the 488 Spider continually reminds us of. Between the past and the present, between two artistic sensibilities that dialogue beyond time.

Hilario DE PAIVA is a contemporary French artist who graduated from an art school in Paris. He continuously exhibits in France in a private collection accessible to the public at the Coligny Car Museum, where Ferrari F40, Bugatti Chiron, Maserati MC12 are visible alongside some of his works. He exhibits in several private collections in the United States, Australia and the rest of Europe.
Hilario DE PAIVA's fascination with the contrasts that run through our society and our admiration for high-end automobiles is translated in the expression “Automotive Heritage,” which is found as a mantra in all his works. “Automotive Heritage” represents the blending of brands, the transgression of codes, the marriage of often-opposed universes. “Framed Automobili” symbolizes what the automobile has brought us—sensations, emotions but above all memories.
