Thabur ceiling lamp – opaline glass globe with swirl decor – Dutch Art Deco design

A particularly atmospheric vintage Thabur ceiling lamp with a characteristic ball-shaped shade of cream-colored opaline glass. The shade features an elegant twisted swirl-relief, causing the light to spread through the glass in a beautiful, soft way.

This lamp is produced by Thabur, a Dutch lighting manufacturer known for its distinctive opaline globe lamps. The company was active in the first half of the 20th century and produced stylish and functional lamps that are highly favored today by collectors of vintage and Art Deco lighting.

A hallmark of Thabur lamps is the globe-shaped opaline glass shades in soft tones such as cream, pink, blue, or mint green, combined with simple yet elegant fixtures. Thanks to the opaline glass, a warm and diffuse light emerges that fits perfectly with both classical and modern interiors.

The model offered here has a beautiful cream-colored glass globe with a twisted rib motif, mounted on a dark ceiling base. When the lamp is lit, it emits a particularly soft glow that subtly highlights the relief.
