Description from the seller

Beautiful cabinet originally to store clothes.
Hence the internal depth is 60 cm.
Still a very beautiful wardrobe.
Fine blond oak of very high quality.
The style is clearly a cross between French elegance and German solidity.
The Alsace has always been a region that at times the French owned and at other times the Germans owned, and most people there speak both languages.
Very sturdily made; this cabinet is from the late 18th century, and can still become hundreds of years older.

Transport:
In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, France and Spain we transport the furniture in packing blankets and bring it inside. For the other countries it is on a wooden pallet in sturdy cardboard and waterproof film up to the front door.
For islands we charge a higher rate; delivery is to the door, please help as the driver is alone, the driver is not allowed to go inside or up the stairs.
The carrier will contact you directly to arrange delivery.
He has your phone number and email address.

>>> These transports usually have no track and trace system.
I enter a dummy code into Catawiki’s computer system.
You cannot track the shipment.
Take photos of the packaging on receipt to rule out damage during transit.
Usually it is not possible to ship within three days, you may ignore Catawiki’s reminders.
Usually it takes between three and seven days on the road.
You approve and sign for receipt with the driver.
Any damage must be reported immediately on this form.
That is required for the insurance.
Damage that occurs afterwards is at your own risk.
An 'empty' form means good receipt.
The carrier will call you to arrange a delivery appointment.
You are free to arrange the transport yourself as well; indicate this when paying to Catawiki.

For countries outside Europe you will pay extra customs duties and there are additional costs for clearance and administration. For countries outside Europe I quote one amount for convenience but the amounts can vary.
I’m happy to inform you. Please contact me.
