Description from the seller
For lovers of classic, high-quality Japanese hifi with a warm, powerful, and very musical sound. The amplifier was built in the early nineties and functions well. Plays powerfully, with good control and lots of detail.
Key specifications:
● 2 x 70 watts RMS into 8 ohms
● Dynamic power up to 2 x 100 watts into 8 ohms
● MM phono input (for turntable)
● Two speaker outputs (A/B)
● Servo-controlled volume regulation
● System Bus
● Weight: 9.5 kg
For fans of audio technology:
The A-371 is built around Luxman’s Duo-Beta circuit design with a strong open-loop character and minimal negative feedback, combined with a DC servo for stability. The amplifier features discrete output stages, a low total harmonic distortion (0.01–0.05%), a broad frequency response up to 100 kHz on line inputs, and a high signal-to-noise ratio (97 dB line). This results in a tight bass, open midrange, and a bright but not shrill treble.
Everything works as it should. The amplifier shows some signs of use consistent with age and a few small visual blemishes on the front panel, see photos.
