Description from the seller
Murano Sculpture "Surrealist Face" - Maestro Mario Badioli - Signed Artistic Glass
Description of the Object
Splendid Murano glass art sculpture crafted entirely by hand by maestro Mario Badioli. The piece is a masterful example of the Picasso-inspired style that has made Badioli one of the most sought-after masters internationally.
The design plays on an elegant and sinuous silhouette, where black hair adorned with white filigree frames a face with intense and abstract expressions.
Technical Details: The hot-work technique creates a rich texture inside the face (golden/amber "graining" effect) that contrasts with the vivid red of the forehead and the deep blue of the base.
Distinctive Elements: The emerald-green relief necklace is an unmistakable hallmark of the maestro. The shape of the hair ending in elegant side "curls" demonstrates the extremely high technical skill required to craft it.
Authenticity: Brand-new piece, accompanied by the original "Vetreria Artistica Badioli" label and a diamond-engraved signature on the base.
Condition: Perfect, gallery-ready. No signs of wear.
