Inkwell - Crystal and bronze

Antique desk inkwell consisting of a base and wells in faceted crystal, engraved with stars under the base, with gilded bronze fittings. Features: It has two ink containers with flat-ridged lids shaped with a form in classic bronze floral, hinged, and a central tray for pins. Era: dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, France (Napoleon III era). The bases supporting the bronze wells feature an elaborate, pierced design, and a smooth, flat crystal surface for the pen rests. Value: It is a collectible piece.
