Both crystals exhibit the characteristic features of Navajún pyrite: sharp cubic geometry, well-developed striated faces, and a bright metallic luster ranging from silver-gold to warm olive-green depending on the angle of light. The cube faces show the typical growth textures and minor surface features consistent with natural formation in the clay-rich host rock of this locality.
