Description from the seller

Rare four-light chandelier, handmade entirely by a Murano master glassmaker, a true classic of Murano glass from the mid-20th century.

All pieces are similar, but not identical, due to the fully handcrafted production.
Beautiful brightness in different lighting conditions, see all the photos. It lit the entrance of an apartment in Venice, now under restoration. The previous owner recalls they were purchased at Fornace in Murano, but due to the era the purchase documents were not preserved.

Transparent glass, with non-serial workings (see the curling of the leaves).
Complete and in good condition.
Dating: about 1950/1960.

It has 4 arms with upward-facing cups, and on each arm hangs a small garland. 4 low leaves between them; 4 tall leaves at the center.

Width: 55 cm. Height: about 70 cm. Equipped with a beautiful wrought-iron hook typical of Venetian chandeliers of the era. 8 with the hook the height becomes about 80 cm.
A classic luminous Murano chandelier, particularly suited to a classical interior, but also modern due to its beautiful and elegant transparent glass.
Electrical system functioning. Sockets for E14 bulbs. Note the fine period lamp holders in brass and ceramic.

It will be shipped dismantled, with assembly instructions for safer transport.

Shipping only to continental EU countries, excluding the islands.

Seller's Story

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas. Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
