AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This fine Amsterdam School/Art Deco clock from the 1920s–1930s is virtually mint in condition and everything is original to this pendulum clock. The clock case is completely intact and made of oak, with a half-oval shape. Notable are the angular wood elements in the interior, and on both sides there are half-round blocks finished with coromandel wood. A model type with the characteristic symmetry (a hallmark of Art Deco) which is clearly visible from the front. The dial is framed and surrounded by a beautifully carved solid coromandel plate, giving the clock an imposing appearance. The solid, heavy brass dial is kept in its original matte patina with the typical Art Deco numerals. The movement has been ultrasonic-cleaned and is of good quality, and where necessary has clock oil added and features a round gong strike. Everything works perfectly and the movement is level. A true eye-catcher, this clock certainly, striking in form and in this condition you rarely come across them. An Art Deco clock that fits into any interior and deserves a beautiful place, or for a collector it will be a sought-after object. The clock is shipped including a key and carefully packed to exclusive and only European destinations.
