A rare piece in decent condition. The remote control is from Technics, from the same period, it works perfectly but it is not the original one that belongs to the item.

The Technics SL-P8 is a first-generation compact disc player released around 1983–1984, when CD technology was still new and premium.
High-end model for its time (early digital audio era)
Built in Japan with solid, heavy construction
Features a front-loading tray with viewing window (you can see the disc spinning)
Includes remote control (quite advanced for early CD players)
Notable feature: pitch control (±6%), extremely rare for CD players
It was considered a feature-rich and technically advanced player compared to many early competitors
