The unit has always been professionally maintained; in 2026 all age-sensitive components were replaced, complete recap.

Description:
First CD player from Revox.
Revox enthusiasts and the HiFi market waited a long time, but it was worth the wait, as the international trade press unanimously concluded in an extensive test report about the B-225.
They all agreed on the excellent manufacturing quality and the high value-for-money.
Opinions differ on ease of use, and amusingly also about the directly driven CD drawer, which German critics describe as loud, while an English specialist journalist labeled the sound as reassuringly solid and reminded him of a Bentley door.

This very luxurious and lovingly built CD player is a true Revox classic with all the qualities that make this iconic brand so beloved.
It is a particularly solidly built device with an open, stress-free sound image.

The Revox features extensive programming functions.
At first glance this may seem complicated, but gradually the operation proves to be very instinctive and actually simple.
The optional remote control is not needed; I never owned one and never missed it.
