Triumph Spitfire 1500, 1976.
Description from the seller
Triumph Spitfire fourth series.
Externally the car presents itself in excellent condition. The red color together with the spoke wheels makes it very beautiful and balanced to look at and to drive. There are no paint defects to report apart from small cuts on the center of the hood. Otherwise the car is sound and has no rust. The iron bumpers are in excellent condition. They show no marks and are undamaged. The doors close well and the seals have no leaks. The hood is also in excellent condition and has all hinges and toggles working. The wheels and tires are like new. There are no defects to report even for the headlights and taillights. The door trim strips and the door gaps are pristine and in excellent condition. The plastics on the front and rear bumpers are also pristine. The underbody is completely sound. No accidents or damaged parts due to impact are reported. There are no patches or repairs indicating bodywork work.
The engine runs smoothly and starts promptly. The braking system works fairly well, but before road use an inspection should be performed. The clutch is in good condition and gears engage well. Oil and coolant have been replaced. No leaks and the car starts well even when cold and idles nicely.
Interior conditions are excellent except for a few wooden spots on the dashboard. Unfortunately, due to the sun, as with many similar models, the woods have deteriorated and need to be replaced. The leather is excellent. No creases and no wrinkles. The rubber mats bear the Triumph logo and beneath the carpet is sound and without tears. The hood is in excellent condition. It has no rips, opens and closes well, and the internal hinges operate without difficulty. The internal indicators work.
Spare wheel and original jack.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
