The presented Ibanez Rock & Play RP100 is an absolute rarity in the vintage audio and musical equipment market. It's not just a cassette player; it’s a legendary, portable guitar training studio produced by Ibanez in the mid-80s.
This is one of the few units available on auction sites that has been fully tested and is completely technically functional, making it a unique collector's opportunity.
Key features:
Analog Ibanez Effects: The device has built-in analog effect circuits for Distortion (OD and DS modes) and Chorus, Ibanez is renowned for. You can connect a guitar directly to the device and play along with cassette music.
Pitch Control: A slider for precise tape speed adjustment, allowing you to match the recording to the instrument’s tuning.
Tape Speed (1/2): Tape slowdown function, ideal for learning difficult riffs and solos.
Mixer: Separate volume control for cassette (TAPE VOL) and instrument (INST VOL).
