Junghans large decorative wall clock with an oak case, 100 cm high, 39 cm wide and 19 cm deep, mechanical 8-day movement with pendulum and winding key, spiral gong striking hours and half hours, dating to circa 1900–1910 and in excellent working order.

JJunghans – Large Decorative Wall Clock – Oak Case – Spiral Gong – Germany – Early 20th Century
Impressive and richly decorated antique wall clock produced by Junghans, one of the most renowned German clock manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th century.
The clock dates from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1915) and features a beautifully crafted solid oak case with elaborate carved details, turned columns and an architectural crest. Its large size and refined proportions make it a striking decorative piece.
The clock is with a 18 cm diameter dial. The upper glass is slightly convex, while the lower section is glazed.
Inside is the original Junghans mechanical movement, clearly signed with the Junghans star trademark. The movement has been cleaned and is in full working order.
The clock strikes the hours and half hours on a spiral gong, producing a deep and pleasant tone typical of this type of mechanism.
This is a fine and authentic example of an early 20th-century German wall clock, combining decorative craftsmanship with reliable mechanical construction.
The clock is complete with pendulum and winding key.
Condition:
Very good condition. Fully working movement. Minor traces of age consistent with use.
