Pentax Super A | Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

The Pentax Super A is a professional 35mm SLR camera.
In 1983 this camera was introduced in Japan. It has always been and still is a very popular camera because of its simplicity, both mechanically and in its automatic operation.

The Super A features:

1) Pentax K bayonet mount
2) the following programs: Tv, Av and M
4) a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000s
5) TTL light metering system
6) manual focus

When using the Super A camera in combination with Super A series lenses, the camera offers shutter speed priority. If using SMC-M lenses, the camera offers aperture priority and full manual modes.

Shutter speeds in M can be set with the two black buttons on the top of the camera and range from 15 seconds to 1/2000s. There is also a bulb mode, and the flash sync speed is fixed at 1/125s. ASA values can be set from 6 to 3200.

The Pentax Super A camera is a midrange camera and is often used by many professionals because the camera is easy to use and supports both automatic and full manual operation.

Manual focusing of each mounted lens type on the camera remains manual.

The offered camera has been checked for proper operation. It runs on 2 LR44 batteries and they are included.
The exterior is very nice with minor signs of use. See photos, which are also part of the description.

Included is an original Pentax body cap.

I have set a minimum price of €149 because I don’t want this camera to be auctioned off for the price of a mushroom and a hare (i.e., a very low price). So whoever bids €149 will become the new owner of this beautiful camera.

In other words… this is a beautiful and good-working camera that can still shoot many wonderful images.

It will be packed very securely and shipped with a Track & Trace number and insurance.
