Religious objects - Silver - 1650-1700 - Osculum Pacis

Ancient silver Kiss of Peace; the hallmarks are present but illegible. Besides, we are talking about an object that was used fairly often, and in this specific case, we are dealing with a very rare 17th-century Peace piece. On the reverse, the date 1697 is engraved on the handle, along with extensive religious inscriptions. On the front, a classical figure of Catholic Christianity, namely Mary, holds the dying Child in her arms. At the top a small cross completes this object.
