Italian Walnut Sideboard – Luigi Filippo Style, late 19th / early 20th century
Description
Elegant Italian two-door sideboard with upper drawers, made between the late 19th and early 20th century.
The furniture is attributed to the sober Luigi Filippo / Umbertino style, characterized by clean and balanced lines, shaped panels on the doors and harmonious proportions. The structure is solid and well preserved, originally designed for the dining room or living room.
The sideboard features:
Two upper drawers
Two hinged doors with shaped panels
Original locks, one with a key and a decorative knop
Back in solid wood boards, typical of the era
The original patina is present and unaltered by recent restorations.
Conditions
Good overall condition.
Normal signs of time (abrasions, slight discolorations on sides and back), consistent with the age of the piece.
Structurally stable. Not recently restored.
