Reliquary (2) - Silver - 1850-1900 - Two silver medallions.

Interesting lot consisting of two ancient votive medals, made of silver worked in filigree, of artisanal manufacture.

The medals feature finely pierced frames with floral and scroll motifs, enriched by small decorative spheres typical of filigree work. In the center are inserted carved sacred figures in relief, referring to devotional Christian subjects, made on a metal support, one of which with internal gilding that enhances the image.

The pieces are equipped with an upper ring for suspension, a feature that confirms their use as votive or personal devotional objects.
