Description from the seller
Elegant Console from the 1940s - Deco Design and Functionality
This fascinating console from the '50s-'60s captures the essence of Deco elegance with a touch of functional design. Made in warm blond wood, it stands out for its curved lines and geometric details.
The top surface hosts a central drawer with a bronze-toned metal knob, perfect for storing small objects. On the sides, two curved slatted supports give an airy and refined touch, reminiscent of the era's style. A back panel with a checkerboard adds depth and a modern touch, while a lower shelf offers additional display space.
This console is ideal for decorating an entrance, a hallway, or a living room, adding a vintage style flair and a note of refinement.
Materials: Blond wood, metal.
Era: 1940s.
Style: Deco, functional.
Dimensions: height 79 cm, width 88 cm, depth 29 cm. Keyboard height with drawer 73 cm, height of the lower shelf 12 cm
Condition: The console is generally in good condition, with signs of use consistent with age. There are slight cracks in the varnish, some areas missing, especially on the curved side edges and on the feet. Time signs that add charm while leaving the design and structure intact. Old worm-eaten holes on the back, but treatment was performed and the piece has been kept wrapped for two months.
An unmissable opportunity for lovers of vintage design and for those wishing to add a touch of retro charm to their furnishings.
