Description from the seller
Magnificent set of 7 essential reference works for any collector, historian, or dealer of vintage photography. This lot brings together the sector's "Bibles," published between the 1980s and 1990s, which remain indispensable tools for the identification, dating, and technical study of analogue cameras.
The lot includes:
1. McKeown's Price Guide to Antique & Classic Cameras (10th Edition, 1997-1998): The most important work in the set. With over 800 pages, it describes thousands of cameras with photographs and technical variants.
2. Michel Auer - The Guide to Antique Cameras (Hardcover): Luxury edition in English, focused on historical pieces and world rarities.
3. Guide Michel Auer (1990 Edition): Practical guide with a focus on the European market.
4. McBroom's Camera Bluebook (1995-1996): Excellent for modern cameras (SLR and medium format) and lenses.
5. Hove International Blue Book (1992-1993): Focused on Leica, Nikon, Canon, and other prestigious brands.
• Overall: Good to very good condition (depending on the book; see photos for a better assessment).
• Details: Books from a private library. The covers show minor wear from handling at the edges and spines, but the interiors of all books are clean, with no loose pages or serious annotations. The McKeown’s (the heaviest book) retains the binding integrity.
