Description from the seller

Gladiator (2000) Movie Script & Production Call Sheets (Copy)

Complete screenplay including 141 pages and also includes 60 pages of Call Sheets with maps, shooting descriptions and cast call times
Final Shooting Script – February 12, 1999
Directed by Ridley Scott
Story by David Franzoni
Written by David Franzoni, John Logan and William Nicholson

This collection also includes Production Call Sheets from the film’s shoot, featuring detailed daily schedules, cast call times, crew breakdowns, location information, logistical notes and production maps outlining set layouts and filming locations. These documents provide rare behind-the-scenes insight into the day-to-day execution of the production, from large-scale battle sequences to the construction and filming of the Colosseum scenes.

For collectors, having the complete revised shooting script alongside original call sheets significantly enhances the historical and archival value of the material. The call sheets capture the operational reality of bringing the film to life. Together, they form a comprehensive production record of one of the most influential epic films of modern cinema.

This combination represents a highly desirable and rarely preserved production archive piece, offering both artistic and production-level documentation of an Academy Award–winning classic.

Gladiator is a 2000 epic historical drama film directed by Ridley Scott. The screenplay, written by David Franzoni, John Logan and William Nicholson from a story by Franzoni, is set in the Roman Empire during the late 2nd century AD. The film follows Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe), a loyal Roman general who is betrayed when the ambitious Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris), murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery and forced to become a gladiator, Maximus rises through the ranks of the arena while secretly seeking vengeance against Commodus and the restoration of honor to Rome.

Our scripts come directly from the USA. They are easy to recognize because they have the standard U.S. paper size. Typically, people use A4-sized paper (297mm in height) to make fan copies of scripts. This paper size is not used in the United States; they use letter-sized paper (279mm in height). This is noticeable because this scripts usually have black lines at the top and bottom, showing that the original paper size used to copy (any American script) is smaller than A4.

Also, our scripts have been preserved under the strictest climate control standards in HVAC-R conditions, both during storage and throughout the packaging process. As a result, a label is applied after sealing them, as shown in the photos. They are bound in the same way that vault copies of scripts are preserved, without any oxidizable materials that could damage the paper. They are carefully packed in bubble wrap and placed in a cardboard box to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
