Bada is a Chinese manufacturer with a very well-known brand name in the Asian audiophile world. This device, the HD-22SE, is the “export” version of the HD-22 and uses better components than the HD-22s intended for the Chinese and Asian market. The HD-22 has one tube (6N3) as the OPAMP and two outputs: a group of vacuum-tube outputs and an operational amplifier output. Also a coaxial digital signal output.
A heavyweight, solidly built unit, with two toroidal transformers. Implemented with an extruded aluminum chassis, Solen capacitors and a Phillips drive mechanism. The player uses the PCM1732 HDCD decoder, a digital filter and a BB Corporation DAC from the USA.
A high-quality multi-stage filter circuit filters the digital signal, a simulated amplifier circuit provides a powerful, voltage-stabilized power supply. The 230-volt input is equipped with an L-filter circuit. The power supply consists of two high-quality R-transformers for the digital and analog circuits.
