Carved disk in brown jade or hard stone from the Western Han period (西漢) (206 BC – 9 AD),
Honey-brown nephrite jade with subtle shading and dark veining.
This fragmentary motif of the stone called "fish brain" is rare on jades.
Engraved with archaic geometric motifs on one face and with chilong among clouds in the middle on the other face.

Dimensions 7 x 7 x 0.8 cm
