Description from the seller
A beautiful pair of solid oak armchairs in Neo-Renaissance style, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1920–1930).
These chairs are characterised by their strong architectural design, with stepped feet, sculptural arm supports and a shaped backrest, reflecting historicist influences typical of Central European craftsmanship.
The frames are made of solid oak with a warm natural patina. The seats are supported by traditional webbing construction (visible underneath), confirming the early production technique.
The chairs have been reupholstered in the late 20th century with high-quality red faux leather, which is in good overall condition and provides a striking contrast to the wood.
A decorative and functional pair, suitable for both classic and eclectic interiors.
