Description from the seller

A refined pair of armchairs in Empire / Neoclassical style, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920).

These elegant chairs are characterised by their balanced proportions and classical decorative elements, including the distinctive scroll-shaped top rail, turned front supports and gracefully curved armrests. The design reflects the timeless influence of the Empire period, reinterpreted in early 20th-century European craftsmanship.

The frames are made of solid wood with a warm, rich patina developed over time. The structure is stable and well-preserved, demonstrating quality construction.

The chairs have been reupholstered at a later stage in black upholstery, which is in good condition and offers a clean, elegant contrast to the wood.

A decorative and functional pair, suitable for both classic interiors and modern spaces seeking a touch of historical character.
